Overview

What the app does

LED flashlight. One tap for on, one tap for off. Brightness runs in ten steps on iPhones whose flash supports it.
SOS. The international Morse distress signal, repeating until you switch it off. Free, no purchase needed.
Screen light. Turns the display into a lamp in white, red, green, blue or yellow at full brightness.
Control Center. Add Flashlight Pure as a control. Tapping it opens the app and switches the light.
Home screen widget. Shows whether the light is on. Tapping it opens the app and switches the light.
Pro, a single purchase. Your own Morse messages, interval flashing, an auto off timer, the Morse alphabet as a reference, and the AMOLED theme.

The light does not come on

iOS hands the flash to one app at a time. If the camera, a video call or another flashlight app is running, the torch stays dark. Close the other app and start Flashlight Pure again. If the phone is very hot, iOS blocks the flash until it cools down.

My iPhone has no brightness steps

Not every flash module can be dimmed. Where it cannot, the app falls back to plain on and off, which is why the dimming row does not appear on some models.

How do I get Pro back on a new iPhone

Open Pro and tap Restore purchase. The purchase belongs to your Apple Account, so it works on every device signed in with the same account. There is no login and no account of ours involved.

Where do I find the widget and the Control Center toggle

Widget: press and hold an empty spot on the home screen, tap the plus, search for Flashlight Pure. Control Center: swipe down from the top right corner, tap Edit, then Add a Control.

What data does the app collect

None. No account, no analytics, no advertising, no network connection. Your settings stay on the device. The Pro purchase runs through Apple, we never see payment details. The privacy policy spells this out.

Which languages does the app speak

German and English. The interface follows your device language and falls back to English for every other setting.
